Every other day something on the news is said to get your anxiety going. If its not on the news then something you saw on Instagram or twitter has been going through your head all day. We grew up in these conditions, finding gore sites while still in middle school and seeing things our grandparents had to go fight overseas to see for themselves. This might be the new normal but was it ever normal? Have things gotten so insane in society that we seem to accept the dysfunctional? Even within traditional religions no sense of normalcy can be found. The church seems to protect its own over its congregation by covering for pedophilia and preaching deadly ideas that, a generation ago, would have been seen as disgusting. Protestants seem eager to use their religion to instead push political agendas instead of lead people to a healthy spiritual life. Where do the children of the west go? Their culture destroyed, religions hijacked, what is left for us? It is time we remembered the religions that were made for us. Christianity does not come from the European homeland, nor does it come from the tropical jungles under the Sahara. The fact is Christianity was made by a Semitic peoples intended for the Jews of Israel. Christianity was adopted by an aristocratic few and forced on others either through the law or violence. The love that our ancestors have for us was put into each of our native ethnic religions and we suggest we start accepting their love once again.
